Sky Star's Community Responsibility
Our community responsibility starts with a simple question: how can we benefit the cities we serve using our actual expertise? We understand pests, prevention, and the seasons of the Hejaz. This page presents the areas we are working on. Details and dates are updated when each activity is approved.
Teaching Schoolchildren About Pest Prevention
Children who understand why bread bags should be closed and water should not be left standing bring those habits home. The proposed activities include:
- Educational visits to schools in Madinah, Makkah, and Jeddah.
For schools needing a regular pest control program, see our Education Sector Services.
Supporting Facilities That Serve Pilgrims
We work in Madinah and Makkah, where hotels, pilgrim accommodation, and communal kitchens face increased demand during Hajj and Umrah seasons. The proposed activities include:
- A support initiative for nonprofit facilities serving pilgrims.
- Scope of support: inspection, treatment, or guidance.
Our commercial services for this season are explained on our Hajj and Umrah Season page.
Services for Deaf Customers and Accessibility
Our website includes an accessibility tool, and we offer a service for deaf customers. We want every customer to be able to request a service and understand safety instructions independently. This area includes:
- Expanding communication channels for deaf and hard-of-hearing customers.
- Post-treatment instructions in illustrated or video formats.
See our Accessibility Statement.
Local Training and Employment
Our team now has 80 employees across 6 cities. With good training, pest control can offer stable work for local people. The proposed activities include:
- A training and employment program for young Saudis in the cities we serve.
- Partnerships with local training organizations.
