skystar provides a clear, written pest control follow-up contract. If activity of the treated pest returns within 30 days of the service date, you can request a follow-up visit to treat the pest again at no additional charge, subject to the terms of the follow-up contract.
This page explains what the pest control follow-up contract covers, what it does not cover, the conditions for using it, and how to request a follow-up visit.
Important: The follow-up contract document is printed and carries the skystar logo. It specifies the type of pest, the service date, and the duration of the follow-up contract.
Duration of the Pest Control Follow-Up Contract
The follow-up contract covers the effectiveness of the treatment against the pest specified in the quotation or service report for 30 days from the date of the last visit.
If activity of the same pest is observed again during this period, a follow-up visit can be requested at no additional charge, subject to the specified terms.
What Does the Follow-Up Contract Cover?
The pest control follow-up contract covers the following cases:
Return of activity of the same pest that was treated, such as live cockroaches appearing after the initial settling period.
An inspection visit to determine the cause of the renewed pest activity.
Re-treatment of the areas covered by the original treatment.
What Does the Follow-Up Contract Not Cover?
The follow-up contract does not cover the following cases:
The appearance of a different pest from the one originally treated, such as treating cockroaches and then finding bed bugs.
Areas that were not included in the original service, such as a neighboring apartment or an extension that was not treated.
A new infestation originating from an external source after treatment has been completed, such as bringing in used furniture or pests entering from another location.
Cases where post-service instructions were not followed.
Seeing a small number of insects during the first few days, as this may be expected while insects emerge from their hiding places before being eliminated.
Follow-Up Contract Terms
To benefit from the pest control follow-up contract, the following conditions must be met:
Follow post-service instructions: This includes not wiping treated areas for 24 hours, not removing bait gel or rodent traps, and following the instructions provided after the service.
The pest must be the same: The follow-up contract applies only to the pest specified in the quotation or service report.
The location must be the same: The follow-up contract applies to the location and areas treated as part of the original service.
Follow preventive measures: If the area is subject to an infestation cycle, such as in cases of bed bugs, the provided preventive measures and instructions must be followed.
Provide access: The skystar team must be given access to the site to carry out the follow-up visit.
How to Request a Follow-Up Visit
To request a pest control follow-up visit:
Contact us by phone or WhatsApp.
Send a photo or description of what you have observed at the site.
The visit will be scheduled within the follow-up contract period.
A technician will inspect the site, determine the cause of the renewed pest activity, and take the appropriate action based on the situation.
Follow-Up Contracts for Commercial Facilities
Contracts for restaurants, hotels, and warehouses differ from a one-time service visit.
Under a periodic contract, visits are scheduled and the service includes ongoing site follow-up. If pest activity is reported between scheduled visits, an additional visit will be provided according to the contract duration and its terms.
Each visit and reported issue is documented in a written report, helping track pest activity and the measures taken within the facility.
